Such a surreal evening. Reminiscent of my old hip-hop-head days, I found myself in the presence of one of the greatest underground legends of all time. Such a chill and talented group! The Cold War Kids came out to UC Berkeley last semester, but I figured I’d post up the photos I took of them after I saw this neat video. Better late than never, right? SUPPORT SUPERB!

One of the greatest live band performance I’ve seen yet :) Blind Pilot, an American indie folk band based out of Portland, Oregon, moved the students of UC Berkeley with their amazing acoustic sound and unique instrumentation. Israel, the lead singer in the blue button up just might the most charming man I’ve ever met! His gentle but striking voice is very profound, and this song in particular is thoroughly pleasing :) Take a gander, I assure you it won’t be a waste of your time!

Frightened Rabbit came to perform here at UC Berkeley last Monday, hosted by SUPERB! I honestly hadn’t heard of them until the concert but once they began to play I was really into their music. They’re also very charming and playful men, very passionate and extremely talented! It was a pleasure meeting them and getting to talk with them.
